The Youth and Amateur Sports Association (TYASA) is a pioneering organization dedicated to transforming the landscape of youth and amateur sports. Founded by President David Dunkerson and supported by Vice President Katelyn Gorham, TYASA’s mission is to address key issues in sports, including cost, awareness, safety, sportsmanship, and time management. TYASA aims to create a structured, supportive, and resource-rich environment for athletes, parents, coaches, and communities, starting with New Jersey and expanding nationwide TYASA was originally founded in 2019 as We Fight Together Inc. However, recognizing the need for a broader focus on youth and amateur sports, the organization began rebranding in 2023 to become The Youth and Amateur Sports Association. The inspiration for TYASA came from David Dunkerson’s passion for parenthood, sports, and community. He envisioned an organization that not only promotes sports but also addresses the comprehensive needs of young athletes and their families.
