Established by the University System of Maryland Board of Regents in June 2016, UMGC Ventures is a 501(c)3 supporting organization for UMGC. We identify revenue-generating opportunities to support the transformation of higher education, incubate those businesses and return the proceeds to the UMGC endowment to maintain the affordability of a high-quality UMGC education for adult learners in Maryland and around the world. UMGC Ventures is certified by the University System of Maryland as a High-Impact Economic Development Activity (HIEDA) to economically benefit both the State and the System
