A 1 hour weekly meet up community where we are honored with a short presentation by an early-stage entrepreneur who needs our help with resources or problem solving. Not a sales pitch or investment request event. We are relaunching this Spring and look forward to seeing you there, either as a presenter or audience participant. The 1MC Metro Detroit chapter offers an opportunity for a new business owner to present their startup to a diverse audience of general public, mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs. Presenters share a 5 minute educational presentation on their business and then us to help them resolve something they are stuck on. Entrepreneurs gain insight into possible ways they can improve their businesses, gather realtime feedback, connect with a community that truly cares about their progress, and walk away feeling like they have advanced their business. The audience also learns a great deal from the presentations. Whether this is through passively listening or deeply engaging with the entrepreneurs, there is much to learn every week from these dynamic and diverse communities.
