Ecotope has provided sustainable building design consulting and engineering services in the Pacific Northwest for over 40 years.
We are a partner-owned small business providing expertise on all aspects of sustainability in buildings including heating systems, ventilation systems, water conservation, controls, building envelope performance, alternative energy systems, controls, and system interactions. Our company was formed in 1975 to target sustainability and added mechanical engineering services in the mid-1990s to directly influence energy-efficient designs.
Our work designing buildings happens at the intersection of research, design, and policy. We have consistently delivered low energy outcomes, contributing to over 150 net-zero energy ready buildings and producing some of the lowest energy use buildings in the western U.S.
At Ecotope, we pride ourselves on identifying and understanding the unique needs of our clients and going beyond what is expected to meet them. For us, this work represents an opportunity to ensure that cost-effective energy and resource-efficient designs are incorporated into multifamily buildings in the Pacific Northwest.
