Vancouver Cantata Singers is one of Canada’s preeminent choral ensembles. It is known for its technical virtuosity, fine blend and high performance standards encompassing 500 years of choral repertoire. VCS was awarded the Canada Council’s top prize in choral singing, the Healey Willan Grand Prize, in 2009 and 2012. Led by Paula Kremer since 2013, VCS is committed to commissioning and performing works by British Columbia composers as well as developing innovative collaborations with regional and international artists and ensembles.
