Led by entrepreneur Jacqui Chew, both TEDxAtlanta and TEDxAtlantaWomen are initiatives of Ideas into Action, a Georgia-registered nonprofit with the mission to amplify local ideas globally and global ideas locally to propel communities to action through conversation, community and collaboration.
Its year-round programming features two TED-like flagship events: TEDxAtlanta and TEDxAtlantaWomen and other interactive experiences throughout the year. The flagship events feature presenters curated from Atlanta and beyond. Talks are between six and 16 minutes across multiple disciplines. Previous events have been described as a "brain spa" by attendees and Talks have garnered 27 Million online views and counting.
TEDxAtlanta and TEDxAtlantaWomen are independently organized under license from TED. Events are planned by a dynamic all-volunteer team and receive no financial or editorial support from TED.
