About UsThe Suffolk FA’s vision is to grow the game in a fun, learning based environment, in partnership with the football workforce in Suffolk.
The Suffolk County Football Association strategy, the Suffolk Football Plan (SFP), sets out the vision, key priorities and targets for investment into grassroots football from 1 July 2008 until 30 June 2012.
The Suffolk FA's workforce is split into two main general areas:
■Football Development
■Football Services
Football Development
The Suffolk FA is committed to developing the game at every level.
The aim of the Development Team is to make a positive difference within football, and to give everyone the opportunity to access quality football opportunities and experiences to fulfil their potential.
We are keen to develop partnerships to promote the benefits of football and improve the facilities where football is played.
The Development Staff work closely with Clubs, Schools & Coaches as well as many other Suffolk Football Stakeholders to provide development opportunities in terms of skills, facilities and links with other stakeholders to name just a few.

Football Services
Football Governance is a core function of any County FA as it involves the day to day running of key areas such as the administration of clubs, leagues and referees along with the running of the discipline process, County Competitions and our Rep Teams.
The Football Services Team are always available to offer advice on all aspects and all questions no matter how trivial they may seem and would much prefer to answer a question than issue a fine!
