Project LIFT’s innovative delivery of mental health services provides therapy through the unique platform of vocational training. At no cost, at-risk teens and young adults engage in hands- on paid training in: welding, HVAC, solar installation, barbering/cosmetology, construction, auto repair, screen printing and more, while licensed therapists work with them to address issues including depression, addiction, trauma, and anger management. With a strong focus on vocational training, job readiness, and employability, Project LIFT works to impact industry by equipping potential employees with the tools to succeed. The on-site Pathway Academy of Innovation is also provided to help those who have dropped out achieve their accredited high school diploma.
Project LIFT serves more than 600 youth and young adults annually, in its Martin, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie County, FL locations, with additional expansions coming soon.
