The Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction was created in 2003 to support people who are change accelerators for sustainable construction.
It seeks to develop the skills of emerging talents to drive change, elevate the profiles of innovative change makers, and bridge generations & geographies to transfer and accelerate best ideas.
These initiatives include the Holcim Awards, the world’s most significant competition for sustainable design, awarded bi-annually, and an international program of conferences designed to spark, interrogate and promote leading-edge thinking for sustainable construction.
The Holcim Foundation is an initiative of Holcim Ltd, and expresses the commitment of its sponsor to sustainable development. The Holcim Foundation remains independent from the commercial interests of its sponsor.
