NAPSEC is a nonprofit association that has represented private specialized facilities serving individuals with disabilities since 1971. We represent the needs and interests of private special education before federal agencies and the U.S. Congress, promoting high quality programs and actively advocating for access to the continuum of alternative placements and services. NAPSEC currently represents over 200 programs nationally and over 300 at the state level through the Council of Affiliated State Associations (CASA).
Our programs are located throughout the nation and provide special education services for individuals of all ages with mild to severe disabilities. Although NAPSEC programs are diverse in the disabilities they serve and the services they provide, all strive to guarantee that each client’s unique needs are met on an individualized basis in order to achieve his or her maximum potential.
