Re:humanism is a cultural association based in Rome dedicated to exploring the relationship between contemporary art, the humanities and new technologies.
Born in 2018 as an independent project and then formalized as an association in 2020, Re:humanism has as its main activity the organization of an international contemporary artists competition aimed at investigating the relationship with advanced technologies and in particular artificial intelligence. Now in its third edition and held every two years (2019, 2021, 2023), the Re:humanism Art prize has involved not only internationally renowned artists, but also professionals in the fields of human sciences and technology united by the common desire to identify possible alternative trajectories to today's techno-scientific development. In addition to the award, Re:humanism has been carrying out dissemination activities for several years such as the publication of texts, seminars, workshops and exhibitions related to the theme and focused on promoting inclusiveness and sustainability as well as the plurality of languages.
