Our story begins 10 years ago with our founder Alice Becker, working as an IT consultant implementing new CRM systems (specifically Salesforce) on behalf of large businesses. Salesforce is a powerful tool when used correctly, but the complexity and scale of a new implementation can create problems for businesses. Companies were spending a lot of money on the initial set up and implementation, but not investing in upskilling their team to use the new tools.
Alice saw first hand that this approach was impeding the effectiveness of the new systems, limiting the ability of the teams and ultimately reducing the return on investment for the business. Seeing a clear gap in the market, Alice envisioned a team of Salesforce experts who’s core focus would not be on the software implementation, but on the people who need to use it; empowering teams to work smarter through custom training and support. In 2012, TrainTheCrowd was born.
