The Goyder Institute for Water Research was established in 2010 to support the management of South Australia’s water resources, to enhance water security, and to contribute to water reform in Australia. The goal of the Institute is to develop and deliver science to underpin policy development in SA. The Institute brings together South Australia’s leading water research capabilities of the State Government, University of Adelaide, Flinders University and the University of South Australia, in collaboration with CSIRO, into a single, comprehensive $50M five-year research programme.
