As the charitable outreach arm of the Diocese of Raleigh, the mission of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh is to respond to the Gospel mandates of Our Lord Jesus by performing corporal works of mercy. Our mission, values, services, and commitment remain constant in serving all people in need. The agency provides Disaster Services, Emergency Assistance, Immigration Assistance, Services in Support of the Family, and Parish and Community Engagement Assistance. We strive to be the agency of ‘first resort’ as well as the agency of ‘last resort’ for the poor and marginalized in the community. We work to inform the public so they know that they can come to us as soon as they need help, as well as once they have been turned away from all other agencies.
