Established in 1884, Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) is a non-profit and non-governmental institution which aims at facilitating economic growth and development.
The most important legal duties of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture with 34 chambers in all provinces and some of the country's town are :
1-offering counsel to the three government branches and collaboration with executive bodies
2-Building synergy and cooperation among merchants and operators of industries, mines and agriculture
3-Establishing contacts with chambers of commerce in other countries
4-Opening domestic and obverses exhibitions
5-striving to find markets for Iranian exports
6-Encouraging domestic investment in production sector
7-Creating and running a central statistical and economic data office
8-Issuing membership and commercial cards for the country's business people
9-Organizing export and import unions and production and service syndicates
10-Offering practical courses on in the fields of business, industry, mines and services
11-Establishing joint chambers of commerce with friendly countries
12-Evaluating and arbitrating members' domestic and foreign commercial issues through the chamber's arbitration center
13-Confirming Certificates of Origin which guarantees the quality and characteristics of exported product
