We were formed in 2015 from the merger of EMS Service previous owned by Gettysburg Fire Department and United Hook & Ladder Co #33. The merger happened due to the need of ALS service to Adams County. The only way this was going to happen was to join together for the better of the community. AREMS went in service June 28, 2015. On March 3, 2019 the Fairfield EMS merged into AREMS. We now have over 75 full and part time providers along with our management team.
