Company History In 2005 we changed our name from Home Traditions to Painting by Jerry Wind, Some of you may know the story of how Jerry started Jerry Wind Quality Painting Company in 1980 and in 1990 sold the company with the name to his partners. Jerry began a new company, Home Traditions, in the early 90's. His former company was renamed Minnesota Craftsman Painting in 2000. In 2010 Ron Wolfe, one of Jerry's original partners, closed Minnesota Craftsman Painting. Ron then joined Jerry as an estimator and field manager in Painting By Jerry Wind. Ron and Jerry have a combined total of over 70 years in the trade and have overseen more than 10,000 residential painting projects between them.
