Nestled between the river and the airport in Missouri's southern Platte County, the Park Hill School District is one of the treasures of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
This growing community includes eight different towns, including parts of Kansas City, Missouri, as well as Parkville, Riverside, Lake Waukomis, Weatherby Lake, Platte Woods, Houston Lake and Northmoor. The Park Hill School District is the glue that unifies all these towns into one community.
There are ten elementary schools in Park Hill. There are three middle schools, including a district sixth-grade center. And there are two high schools – Park Hill High School and Park Hill South High School. We also have an early education center, a day school, a community education program and a community aquatic center.
Each one of our schools here in Park Hill has been recognized for its excellence.
Because of the consistently high achievement in all our schools, Park Hill School District is Accredited with Distinction by the state of Missouri. Park Hill’s ACT scores are not only above the state and national averages, they are consistently the highest in the Kansas City, Missouri area.
And Park Hill is the only school to earn the Missouri Quality Award twice for its commitment to excellence in every part of the organization.
