Northern Rescue Helicopter Ltd (NRHL) is a joint venture between the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust and the Northland Emergency Services Trust, and is the contracted provider to the Ministry of Health & ACC for emergency air ambulance helicopter services in the northern region of Aotearoa New Zealand. NRHL provides clinical services and emergency air ambulance transport to the 1.85 million people living in our region, an area stretching from the Coromandel Peninsula to Cape Reinga in the Far North. NRHL operate a fleet of modern aircraft worth over $50M, and employ over 100 staff across a range of disciplines from clinical and aviation roles to fundraising and administration.
