The Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on 3 main pillars: Life Skills, Community Development, and Crisis Management. When life is hard, look for the helpers - we will be there. What we use your donations for: Homelessness & Fresh Water Crises: We’re currently developing position papers and project plans to roll out large-scale efforts to help alleviate the homelessness crisis in the U.S. and the coming freshwater crisis that has already started impacting areas of the Southwestern United States. Direct Giving: We provide immediate relief for individuals and families who are struggling to afford basic necessities, such as food, clothing, and utilities. Whenever possible, we also seek to connect people with services in their area that can provide longer-term assistance, helping them further distance themselves from the hardships they’re currently experiencing. Life Skills Library: Our first five videos are currently in production: Writing a Resume from Scratch, Renting an Apartment, Strategies to Learn Anything, Basic Finance, and Teaching for Non-Teachers. We will launch our library in late 2023 with these five videos and continue to add videos each month of “things they should teach in high school”.
