Hailed by Israel's Ministry of Education the most important Jewish educational program today, I Belong Israel (Masa Israeli), a transformative, week-long, journey across Israel's landscapes and historical sites, is taking decisive action to strengthen the Jewish, Zionist, and Israeli identity of Israeli and diaspora people. The program's prove results have been documented and published by Professor Gad Yair, head of the NCJW Research Center for Innovation in Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, writes, "The unique components of the I Belong Israel (Masa Yisraeli) journey and their integration creates powerful experiences that influence, and even change, participants' perception of identity as well as preconceived ideas relating to their personal and social spheres." The study also points to significant impact in the areas of dialogue, commitment to Israel, as well as inclusion and tolerance.
Since its founding over, 270,000 Israeli and diaspora people have embarked on this life changing program. Under the leadership of I Belong Israel (Masa Israeli) President Elyezer Shkedy, former Commander of the Israel Air Force, the organization aims to reach more individuals and new audiences.
