Standing for passion, quality and tradition, Laurent introduced the concept of French artisan baking to Australia, with its first store opening in 1993 on Melbourne’s high fashion shopping strip, Toorak Road and has grown to 18 café locations across Melbourne.
In March 2018, Laurent expanded our manufacturing facility in Braeside which produces French breads to the highest traditional standards with total consistency. This facility is globally unique with much of its equipment developed by our innovative team to recreate techniques that are centuries old - including slow rise and the use of our own live sourdough starter.
