Western State Hospital (WSH) is a 246 bed, Joint Commission and CMS accredited inpatient adult psychiatric hospital located in Staunton, Virginia. WSH is a state of the art facility that believes in the dignity, worth, and uniqueness of the individual and their potential to participate in the development of treatment which is respectful and reflective of the choices of consumers and their families. The mission of WSH is to provide safe and effective individualized treatment in a recovery focused environment.
