Since government funding for care hardly keeps pace with the clinical and social innovations needed for our growing city, Denver Health Foundation donors make this groundbreaking work possible. Professional staff at Denver Health Foundation work with donors on opportunities to make a difference in areas such as innovation in health care delivery, school-based health clinics for children, key social and community supports and economic development through workforce development, to name a few. The Denver Health Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that operates separately from Denver Health and Hospital Authority and has its own governing structure, board of directors and by-laws. Founded in 1998, Denver Health Foundation raises private funds that support Denver Health and Hospital Authority in its role to sustain and advance the health and well-being of Denver, Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region.
