We are Portotech, the first Science and Technology Institute of Applied Research of Rio Grande do Sul. Portotech starts off as an innovator, presenting a differentiated model of management, in which companies and universities find an environment oriented to Technological Innovation. Portotech is a private, non-profit, Research and Development Intuition, and it was created to satisfy a regional demand in the area of technological innovation, with a national and international perspective of business and science. Using market experience and the capacity of its multidisciplinary staff, the Institute combines creativity and knowledge of the main academic institutions of Rio Grande do Sul. Through scientific research, its mission is to transfer and foment academic knowledge to the market, generating technological research and allowing for the creation of products, services and innovating companies, as well as new methodologies and processes, in the industrial, service, public administration sectors.
