Since 1917, the YMCA of the Capital Area has been guided by our mission, identity, impact and delivering transformative responses to community needs in the service area of Baton Rouge and surrounding communities. Our cause for action is our common vision to achieve desired outcomes that strengthen community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Y works to address critical social issues and pressing problems facing our communities.
