We founded Big Vision in 2010 as an educational resource and event series for independent artists, who had been gathering at monthly events and screenings in NYC since 2008. Sensing an important industry shift underway, in 2015 we re-launched as an incubator that focused on kickstarting diversity in film and TV, and re-launched as a production company to emphasize our role as producers and execute the projects we supported. Our incubation model has a great success rate. We have had premieres at Sundance, SXSW & the Tribeca Film Festival, sales to major film distributors, streaming platforms, and TV networks, and releases in theaters nationally and internationally. In May 2020, we will celebrate our 10 years as a company. In many ways, this year is a return to our roots (if you’re a long time Big Vision fan, you’ll see that we’ve even returned to an updated version of our old logo and branding!). We started this company because we are creators ourselves and were looking for the same resources that we have been known to provide to others. This year, look out for more creative projects from our founders Dani & Alex (in addition to producing, Dani is a comedian and writer and Alex is a director). We’re both passionate about our work and are focused on creating outstanding content and leveling up in 2020.
