NDTA, the Association for Global Logistics and Transportation, appeals to professionals in public and private sectors who enable logistics and distribution support for the military. Officially known as the National Defense Transportation Association, NDTA recognizes technology, trends and processes that encompass much more than transport. Principles of partnership, knowledge sharing, education and mentoring are corner stone to the organization. At the National level, NDTA operates six functional committees [Military Airlift | Sealift | Surface Transportation | Distribution | Passenger Travel Services | Cybersecurity Best Practices] to address topics of mutual interest. Corporate executives serve as the Board of Directors and committee chairs; leaders from the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), the Department of Transportation (DOT), the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and other government agencies participate as liaisons. Globally, NDTA operates over 60 Chapters across the United States and overseas.
