Labor and Industry For Education, Inc. (“LIFE”) is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed over twenty-five years ago. LIFE is based in Cedarhurst, NY and provides a myriad of important services to underserved communities across all of New York State. LIFE also has satellite locations in Bushwick, Williamsburg and Coney Island. Since its inception, LIFE’s mission has always been to provide a wide variety of social services to families and individuals who require such services, regardless of race, religion, creed or color. This includes free and low-cost early education programs across Brooklyn, NY for low-income families, free mortgage foreclosure prevention services in Nassau County and statewide Pooled Income and Asset Trust services.
