Founded in 1929 by Vito Zichittella, a connoisseur of coffee, Zicaffé is a coffee roasting company, based in Marsala, Sicily. The company has always pursued a high-quality product policy. Zicaffé imports the highest quality of green coffee directly from producing countries. Roasting, blending and grinding techniques are the result of more then 80 years of experience. The whole production cycle is performed through the latest technologies, and is completely managed by computers. Quality, experience, innovation, wisely blended to get a superb coffee. As a result, two of Zicaffé coffee blends - namely Cinquantenario and Crema in Tazza Superior - have been awarded the Espresso Italiano Institute Certification. The INEI certification is a reward for all our efforts in pursuing quality, and something we're proud of. To meet customers’ needs, Zicaffé produce a wide range of coffee blends, both in grains and ground, decaffeinated and non-decaffeinated; coffee is packed in different sizes for the Ho.Re.Ca. channel, retail chains and filter pods for automated coffee machines. Cafés customers are supported on the choice of the most suitable blend.
Moreover, in order to get the best result from our coffee blends, Zicaffé provide barista training, both locally and in our plant. Since the 1980s, Zicaffé exports to more than 40 countries worldwide, from U.S.A. to China. Foreign partners are constantly supported in distribution and given advice on coffee presentation.
