The Heritage is a stunning hotel located in Killenard, Co Laois, 5 minutes from Portarlington and less than an hour from Dublin just off the M7 at Junction 15. The hotel has 98 bedrooms, 5 two bedroomed apartments and 6 meeting rooms with a capacity for up to 350 delegates. One of these rooms is a 50 seater auditorium. In January 2019, the hotel was acquired by FBD Hotels & Resorts which includes Castleknock Hotel in Dublin and Faithlegg Hotel in Waterford in addition to two properties in Spain, La Cala Resort and Sunset Beach Club in Benalmadena Costa. The Heritage Hotel and Spa has already outlined exciting refurbishment plans with the main ballroom to be completed by May 2019. The hotel also has one of the largest spa's in Ireland with the thermal suites covering over 2,200 square feet in addition to 18 treatments rooms. There is also the Seve Ballesteros designed 18 hole golf course located onsite as well as a golf academy. The amenities also include an extensive leisure and fitness centre with tennis courts and a walking trail located on the resort. Within the hotel, there is the recently refurbished Seven bar and Blake's restaurant serving only the finest Irish ingredients.
