Melbourne AMEP Volunteers offer support to refugees and migrants learning English – but often it’s also about helping someone feel connected to the community or working towards other goals such as finding employment, accessing services, or understanding more about life in Australia.
It’s flexible: 1 hour a week – meetings take place online or face to face in a public space.
No teaching experience required. Training provided.
This role is suited to a wide range of people: whether you have experienced settlement yourself, you are looking to expand your own skills and networks or are just looking to lend a hand, the VTS would love to hear from you.
