We are pioneers in a new paradigm of building. Superfab was founded to combine design thinking, experienced hands, and the best of tools new and old to find a better way to cultivate our built environment. Equal parts engineers and craftspeople, we work with designers, architects and builders to unlock the solutions necessary for future facing work. We’re studied and practiced as designers, informed by the logics of engineering, and long disciplined by the unforgiving imperatives of construction. Having fluency in the many languages of a given project’s stakeholders provides us the means to promote a better kind of collaboration, and ultimately, to realize opportunities for higher outcomes that siloed project ‘teams’ just never get to see. We partner to help good architectural ideas become built reality by contributing architectural models, full scale mockups, consultations on constructability, key cost drivers, design for prefabrication and more. When the work is ready, we build. As a shop-based practice, we are prefabricators by nature. We design our fabrication methods and manufacturing techniques with high precision as a given, and unfailingly leverage the best of our broad collection of manufacturing partners in our work. By combining this with systems thinking and a fluid approach to manufacturing, we produce beautiful, lasting things at a scale well beyond our weight class.
