Coast Mountain Bus Company (CMBC) is the contract operator and administer for bus, HandyDART, and SeaBus transit services in Metro Vancouver. CMBC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (TransLink) the entity responsible for regional transportation. The buses and passenger ferries form part of the integrated transit network for the region.
CMBC's comprehensive service which is grounded in safety, reliability, community service and innovation attracts 600,000 passenger trips (boardings) per day along 195 bus routes in a 1,800-square-kilometer region that extends from Deep Cove in North Vancouver to White Rock on the U.S. border and from Maple Ridge in the Fraser Valley to Point Grey on the Pacific Ocean.
