Chester County is a large and complex county. With approximately 500,000 residents, our county includes Fortune 500 companies, beautiful preserved open spaces, working farms, historical structures, and vibrant downtown areas. The Chester County District Attorney is the chief law enforcement officer for the county. Within the county, we have over 50 law enforcement agencies working together, including municipal police departments, the Pennsylvania State Police, federal agencies, and the Chester County Detectives. In partnership with our outstanding Chester County police departments, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office uses the most advanced law enforcement investigative techniques, technology, and trial skills to protect and serve the residents of Chester County. It is our duty to uphold and defend the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Constitution of the United States of America.
