MICOPERI has been active in the marine sector since 1946 when the company was incorporated as a salvage company to free the shipping routes from vessels sunk during the Second World War.
Following a period of intense activity in the Mediterranean area, the company played a major role in the clearance of the Suez Canal. Using the experience gained in 13 years of salvage operations, MICOPERI broadened its activity as principal contractor in the construction and installation of the first oil platforms.
Since 1961 MICOPERI has been engaged in the construction of all types of platforms in the Gulf, The Red Sea, The Indian Ocean, The Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the North Sea.
