Centroamérica cuenta (translated as "Central America tells (stories)" but also as "Central America matters") is an initiative that calls for a yearly international gathering of the region’s writers, editors, publishers and intellectuals, aiming to promote the region’s art and literature trough different projects and events, providing a showcase for Central American, Latin American and universal literary expression.
