SciCon is a student-led initiative which brings together world-class research and the next generation of scientists. We want to create an environment for a two-way conversation about scientific ideas across all fields. An informal setting promotes a more open-minded exchange of ideas between researchers and students by replacing the austerity of the lecture hall with lab workshops, talks, networking events and much more! Through collaboration with societies across UCL, students will have the opportunity to gain a new perspective on interdisciplinary research and develop contacts with experts in various fields. We have been named "Best ChangeMakers Project of the Year" for 2017/18.
