Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan (JA) empowers young people to own their economic success.
JA is a partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers — all working together to inspire young people to dream big and reach their potential. JA’s hands-on, experiential programs teach the key concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to young people.
Last year, more than 61,000 kids ages K-12th grade were engaged in Southeastern Michigan by JA programming. These programs include professional business volunteers entering the classroom, job shadows, and interactive budget management at Quicken Loans Finance Park.
