Hi! I'm Ciearra Powell, founder of PlayCareNourish.com👶🏼 The moment I realized I was having a girl, I wondered how I would create a legacy for my daughter. But as a full-time student, I quickly realized how hard it was to have a newborn and get ANYTHING else done! It was a struggle to complete readings and assignments while my baby was napping - you know how it is. In that moment I wished for a magical place where moms could go for some peace & quite, where our kids could be looked after (but I could still see them), and a place THAT HAD COFFEE! I started to envision a sophisticated, work-friendly café with a designated play area for kids. I imagined nourishing organic food, and caring staff who would look after my daughter while I was on a conference call or editing an assignment. So Play, Care, Nourish was born. We were ‘full steam ahead ' to open our cafe location and then COVID-19 hit. We had to pivot fast and decided to transition to an online store until it’s safe to continue building out our cafe!
