Prisma Electronics SA was established in Alexandroupolis, in 1991, as a computer reseller. In the following years the company became the specialised ICT systems (guidance systems, ICT system Integrator, Networks (FTTH, FTTP, WLAN), collect data from sensors). The outcome of this intense and continuous effort is that nowdays Prisma Electronics is considered to be among the most innovative companies in Greece. This recently have been proved by a gold award from CMS-CERN Geneva. The company is organized into two divisions, on account of a wide range of diverse activities. The head office, the show room and the IT Division operate in a new building (700 m2) which is located on 87 Democratias Ave. in the centre of Alexandroupolis. The Electronics Division operates in a modern industrial unit (2.000 m2) which is located in the industrial area of Alexandroupolis, 10 km north from the city centre. The sales and support department (150 m2 ) operate in Athens, 126 El.Venizelou, Nea Smirni. Design of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). Development of prototypes for commercial and scientific purposes. Supply of electronic components and bare PCBs on behalf of customer request. Electronic assembly of PCBs. Specialised services such as: Repair & Rework, Functional test, Coating, Burn-in test and Isolation & Continuity test. Cables harnessing. Electronic/electrical devices integration. • Autonomous Variable Message Signs (Led Displays), under the brand name PrismaLed, to be used in advertising, public information and traffic signaling. Networked Variable Message Signs supporting various applications. • PrismaSense® system that collect-process-store-transmit data from sensors to a main database through web services using wireless protocol with a minimum consumption • Xenagos® a interactive multimedia multilingual guidance system used inside museum and exhibition areas to deliver personalized content through of use RF-id, mobile devices, infokiosks and wireless networks.
