City Hope is a faith-based non-profit focused on providing a trusted gathering place for our most marginalized neighbors in the Tenderloin. At City Hope everyone is welcome, respected and celebrated. The City Hope Community Center provides a safe space to enjoy homemade meals with neighbors and participate in community building activities such as movie night, bingo and karaoke (meals are to-go during these COVID times and activities have been temporarily postponed). The City Hope House is a two-year transitional sober living home for individuals who have graduated from a recovery program and are working on strengthening their financial, professional and personal lives in order to transition successfully to independent living.
