The mission of the Waterbury Housing Authority (WHA) is to provide safe, quality affordable housing for very low, low, and moderate-income persons. It is the goal of the WHA to deliver these services with integrity and mutual accountability, to create healthy living environments, and to create opportunities for independence, self-sufficiency, and improved quality of life.
The WHA currently assists over 3,035 families who reside in Public Housing Units owned and operated by the WHA, and in privately owned units that are assisted by Housing Choice Voucher Programs.
