Coopérative de développement régional du Québec (CDRQ) is the authority on creating, developing, and representing cooperative businesses in Quebec with a view to fostering sustainable development across the province.
In partnership with Ministère de l’Économie, de la Science et de l’Innovation (MESI) and Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité (CQCM), the CRDQ’s mandate is to:
Promote the cooperative model
Provide guidance at the pre-incorporation and incorporation stages and followup for new cooperatives
Support takeover projects
Provide specialized support for existing cooperatives, including general meetings, financing, strategic planning, marketing, corporate culture, legal compliance, etc.
Foster dialogue and cooperation between cooperatives
