In choosing a company name, we chose not to go with a meaningless name, but with a name that has meaning and heart - a name that defines our being, our culture, and our commitment. Promus is a latin word for steward. As individuals, throughout our careers we have challenged ourselves to be good stewards of our talents, good stewards of our clients' resources, and good stewards of the companies for whom we worked. We have made our best efforts to treat each project as if we owned it or would operate it ourselves. Promus is an assemblage of waste industry professionals that have joined forces for a reason - we each are driven to serve our clients with our God-given talents to the best of our ability.
