The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School is a dynamic, inclusive, co-educational school. Inspired by our historic tradition of ‘Love as Brethren’, we strive to be outstanding in everything we do, producing young people who have the confidence, qualifications, experience and aspiration to be successful in the 21st Century world.
Vision for 2018
• All students are engaged in an inspirational education which goes beyond the classroom, facilitating learning and character building.
• All staff are aligned to the strategic goals and objectives of the school and are inspirational leaders, with a ‘can do’ attitude, to drive forward standards in their subject areas.
• There has been considerable investment in the school site to improve classrooms as learning environments, as well as the image of the school.
• The school is self-improving and at the forefront of educational change, with the collective capacity to accomplish extraordinary things.
• There has been the creation of a culture of personal accountability, in the relentless pursuit of excellence.
• The use of student data within the curriculum and pastoral system has been overhauled, to impact more effectively on student progress and achievement.
• There has been considerable investment in high quality ICT to support the strategic aims of the school.
• Our rich and traditional relationship with The Worshipful Company of Coopers, the City of London and our Alumni has been strengthened.
• There has been a cultural shift to improve further the strategic effectiveness of The Governing Body.
• The Coopers Coborn brand has been promoted and developed, in order to create an entrepreneurial arm of the school to generate significant income streams.
