Established in 2003, MAP is the only statewide 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Massachusetts dedicated to expanding quality afterschool and out-of-school time (ASOST) programs and other expanded learning opportunities (ELO) for children, youth, families and communities. MAP developed out of a growing awareness of the role of afterschool programs in meeting important social and economic needs, including providing support for educational successes and support to working families with school-aged children.
