Since 1958, Enfants du Mékong helps Southeast Asia children. Almost 22 000 sponsored children and 60 000 supported children can now access to education. Every year, Enfants du Mékong support the construction of a hundred development projects (schools, wells …), and manage 7 school centers.
60 volunteers of international solidarity ("Bamboo") are sent on the ground annually to follow the various projects. Enfants du Mékong intervenes in 7 countries: Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, the Philippines, Cambodia, Burma and China. Children of the Mekong also acts in France through « Ecoliers Solidaires » (« Solidary schoolchildren) project which purpose is to sensitize pupils to the chance they have to be able to go to school and to suggest them acting for the poorest’ education (rice bowls, sports challenges…).
