Charles Sabah started Sabah International as a sole proprietorship in November of 1972 and incorporated in California in April 1979, specializing in Special Hazards Fire Protection with particular emphasis in Halon 1301 systems. Halon 1301 was in its infancy at that time but Sabah believed that its features and benefits would be needed in the expanding electronics market. With changes to EPA requirements, the production of Halon was phased out January 1, 1994, and the company now installs new replacement Clean Agent Suppression Systems.
Led by company officers Michele Sabah, CEO, and Matt Ramsey, President, Sabah International is celebrating 40 years of uninterrupted business under the same management. Starting with two people in a small office on East 12th Street in Oakland the company is now headquartered in Pleasanton, California. With a second office located in Rocklin, the company is nearing 100 employees and performs work across Central and Northern California.
Sabah International has broadened its base to include Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems, Liquid Leak Detection and Location, Sprinkler Inspections and Repair, Fire Extinguisher Inspections and Repair, Hazardous Process Management Systems, Air Sampling Systems, Carbon Dioxide Systems, Clean Agent Suppression Systems, Access Control, Video Surveillance and Security Systems. Our clients include major banks, commercial office buildings, electronic manufacturing companies, and a wide cross section of national companies headquartered in Northern California.
Of particular importance to the stability of the company have been its long-term relationships with its major suppliers. These long-standing associations assure continued training for the products and services we provide, and a supply of readily available spare parts.
