'HAQ' in Urdu means 'Rights' In spirit, HAQ dedicates itself to the recognition, promotion and protection of the rights of all children. In approach, HAQ focuses on children in a holistic way – as Actors in society, as Citizens of today, and as Adults of tomorrow. In practice, HAQ strives to propel child rights into all mainstream development efforts, governmental and non-governmental, and place it on the centre stage of national debate.
